Organiser Deputy Kevin Lewis has found a sponsor, Defiant Film Production, for the event and it could start as early as next Friday. But the Jersey Film Festival will have a twist this year – after three days of open air films at Howard Davis Park, there will be three days of locally made or produced films at the New Forum cinema in the first Jersey Film Festival competition. Deputy Lewis said that the dates and line-ups for both the exhibition and competition stages of the festival had not been finalised. ‘We have got to put a panel together to judge the competition, but we will do that soon,’ said Deputy Lewis.
