Siddall heads to World Games with GB Universities team

The Rozel Rovers man has been selected for the Great Britain Universities squad having played for Rollins College in America for the past three years.

A Jersey resident for 11 years, Siddall was educated at De La Salle College and Grainville and Hautlieu schools.

Siddall (21), who will captain Rollins College next season, said: ‘I’m delighted to have been chosen and I’m really looking forward to the competition.

It’s a honour to be going and it caps a fine season for the College and myself as we won the Florida Sunshine State League and KO Cup.

We also reached the regional National final competition which is played between the best 32 universities throughout America.’ Sixteen countries are competing in Bangkok with GB in a group against Mexico, Morocco and Kazakhstan.
