Myra Shacklady, whose appointment at Jersey Harbours was announced in March, is in the running for the tourism and leisure category of the CBI Real Business First Women Awards.
Ms Shacklady was previously commercial director at Milford Haven Port Authority and the nomination recognises her contribution as the first female director in the 50-year history of the Welsh port and her work developing marine leisure and cruise ship calls.
