They started with a 3-0 win against Paris team L’hay les Roses with Jack Hinton scoring two and John Tardivel netting the other, while they lost out 1-0 to professional French team FC L’Orient.
Bouncing back from this they defeated hosts Douarnenez 6-0, as Tardivel remained on form netting two, a feat matched by Sam Crabtree, with Nick Carpenter and Charlie Petulla also finding the back of the net.
Their final match of the day ended 0-0 against Belgium’s Woluwe.
The Centre of Excellence’s assistant director Simon Moiani is very impressed with the team’s performance in Brittany and said: ‘The tournament has been absolutely fantastic so far.
‘The experience that the boys are getting is superb – they’re getting the chance to play teams from all corners of the world.
‘The standard is quite mixed with some local sides and some professional sides – the latter are obviously more technically gifted but our boys are not far behind them at all.
