The figures, published in the Jersey Social Survey yesterday, reveal that a massive 88% of Islanders feel they are paying too much for journeys. The survey also revealed that 57% of people thought they had been overcharged by drivers, and one in five said that they always turned up late. But the results have provoked strong reactions from drivers, who have defended their colleagues and claimed that the public should try living in London if they think they are being charged too much.
