BA gets back to normal

BA gets back to normal

The airline’s Jersey manager, Bob Wickings, said their services were operating normally. However, the number of passengers on board the five services to and from Gatwick both today and tomorrow is likely to be well below normal load factors. The first flight left on schedule at 7.09 am and the first inbound service arrived 20 minutes early at 9.15 am. Meanwhile, there could be bargains to be had, as cheaper tickets may still be available on some BA flights today and tomorrow. The airline said it expects to run a ‘full flying programme’ from both Gatwick and Heathrow after the last-gasp deal averted the strike. The airline has been working to reinstate hundreds of flights cancelled because of the planned industrial action.
