The pair, who are studying at St Brelade’s College, were walking past the Tourism office in Liberation Square at around 9.30 pm last nightwhen they were approached by the eight Jersey teenagers.
The gang told them they were looking for foreigners to beat up and started to call other people to join them.
The two students, both aged 17, managed to run away and jump on a bus, but others at the language school haven’t been so luckily.
