Trust firm is ordered to pay back £60,000

Interface Trustees Ltd, part of Interface Management Ltd based in Pier Road, lost an appeal against a licence refusal by the Island’s regulator earlier this year and was subsequently ordered to wind up its business.

On Friday the Bailiff, Sir Philip Bailhache, sitting with Jurats de Veulle and Newcombe, considered the claim of Beresford Trustees Ltd by way of an Order of Justice in relation to the Hare Trust.

The trust was set up in 1998 with Beresford as the trustees.
