The Senator has viciously attacked Deputy Hilton – whose successful election campaign he handled in 2002 – labelling her a Judas, a turncoat and a disgrace over her position on the Trinity infill saga.
Over the weekend the Senator has put up articles running to thousands of words on his website, attacking his former Environment Committee colleagues Deputy Hilton and Senator Philip Ozouf, as well as other States Members.
Deputy Hilton’s only response to the attacks has been to say that she would take outside advice on the material.
Apart from possible legal action, it also seems very likely that the Senator will face a vote of censure in the House.
In the message he sent to Deputy Hilton, which she immediately forwarded to all States Members, Senator Vibert calls her ‘Dear little poodle’ and accuses her of shedding her principles and beliefs to save her political skin.
