THE annual Air Display is set to hit the skies tomorrow – with plenty of action in store both in the air and on the ground.
Flying is due to start at 1pm with a range of historic warbird planes, fast jets and helicopters set to be showcased, before a spectacular finale from the Red Arrows.
The Lower Park will host the new Skyline Food Festival, while a number of local businesses and organisations will be joining the event.
Between 3pm and 7pm today and 9am and 10.30am tomorrow, aircraft can be viewed for £5 for adults and free for children at the Static Display at the Airport.
Organiser Mike Higgins said: “Welcome to the 2026 Jersey International Air Display, which we hope will cement the event’s recovery from the lows of Covid in 2020 and the years immediately following it.
“We have brought together an eclectic mix of very rare and historic aircraft for this year’s air display. They come from all over Europe. Some are the only flying examples of their type in Europe or the world. Each has a fascinating story to tell”.
He added that the annual event relies heavily on donations as staging it comes with “significant costs”, with the event relying on sponsors, supporters and donations from the public to help continue this “much-loved Island tradition”.
