Walsh hat-trick gives St Brelade a plum tie with Island champions

Last season’s championship champions came from a goal down away to St Clement last night to win their first round Charity Cup match 4-1.

Alan Singh, who was later sent off, put the hosts ahead only for St Brelade to reply with Walsh’s treble and a single from Jay Thompson.

St Brelade’s reward for their victory is a second round match against cup-holders and Island champions Jersey Scottish next Wednesday.
