Amy White (27) was not due to give birth until 26 April, but last week her son made an early entrance six minutes into a flight as she was being transferred to Guernsey’s hospital after going into labour early.
Mrs White said that the conditions on board the flight were ‘cramped’ and added: ‘I had no idea I was going to give birth on the plane. We were half-way across when I
realised the baby was coming. It was certainly an experience. Those planes are small and to give birth on one is pretty hard.’
