The Commercial Buildings road had fallen into disrepair after years of use by heavy vehicles travelling to and from La Collette. Along with strengthening the carriageway, TTS has improved access for both cyclists and pedestrians on the pathway.
Transport Minister Mike Jackson said that he appreciated the patience that motorists, businesses and residents had shown.
