At the midway point of the Senatorial hustings campaign in St John, Senator Cohen said that the development was ‘a terrible mistake’.
But he claimed again that the key decision was taken by Planning’s applications sub-committee under former Deputy Jerry Dorey two months before he was elected minister, and that once that permit had been issued, the development was effectively unstoppable.
