Adam Dalton was born with stumps for arms, a club foot and a missing bone in his leg and will require considerable medical help for the rest of his life. His parents Barry and Juliette, who moved from Jersey to Ireland in 2002, say that they were amazed at the response to their campaign, which has been spearheaded by Adam’s Jersey grandmother, Patricia Carrier. On Friday the family held a party at the Stafford Hotel to thank all those who have raised money which will go towards care for Adam. And, speaking today, mother Juliette Dalton, a former Le Rocquier student, said that the family had been touched by the local fund-raising effort.
