The Mantle Panel System, which allows the shell of a three-bedroom house to be erected in a day, came top of 250 entries in the South of England regional heat of the Shell Springboard awards and was then second in the final last month.
MP Agencies Ltd is the sole CI supplier and is currently building a six-unit apartment block in Duhamel Street, St Helier.
Director Brian Beadle said: ‘It took eight years of research and development to get where we are now – we got UK certification two years ago and now there are three buildings in the process of construction in the UK.
‘The award carries a lot of weight environmentally and there is a lot of interest from overseas.
