They were arrested yesterday morning when they arrived at work following a tip-off by other police employees.
They have all been suspended until investigations are complete. This follows the news this week that another civilian employee was sacked for making racist comments.HardwareIt is alleged that the men, who have not been named and who were employed on a full-time basis, removed computer hardware and software and took the equipment home.
Officers have searched the homes of all three and a number of items were seized. The men worked in the specialist IT unit which handles very sensitive information on the force’s most high-profile cases.
One of the employees has worked for the States police for 23 years, another for eight years and another for three.
