The Royal Court heard that the victim was in fear for her life as Florin Calin (20), Dorel Diaconu (23), Oprea Dobre (18), Alexandru Dobrin (18) and Marius Dobrin (24), all originally from Romania, each took turns raping her at Les Platons car park in December last year – filming parts of the ordeal on their mobile phones.
All five had pleaded guilty to two counts of rape.
The Bailiff, Sir William Bailhache, presiding, said that ‘by any standards these were appalling crimes’.
