The Islander secured line honours at Bonne Nuit with his Second Wind colleagues Paul Coutanche, Michael Rive, Des Nevitt and cox Natasha Paling – but the triumph, one of six for Jersey, was not enough to help reclaim the Le Poidevin inter-insular trophy from Guernsey, who won 19-18 despite only claiming one class win from eight.
Hayley Cook and Kiley Tréhorel won the ladies’ pairs in 2.27.02, and Rob Cassin and Kirsten West claimed the mixed doubles for Jersey, in 2.08.01.
