Brewin Dolphin Jersey men’s 1st XI hockey team will have their second home fixture in a month when they face Lewes a week on Sunday in the quarter-final stage of the National Hockey Association Trophy.

Although Jersey were drawn to play Lewes at home over a week ago, it has only been confirmed in the last few days that the UK team will be making the trip across the channel.

Under England Hockey rules, the UK side are allowed to decline to travel forcing the Island side to make the journey, but the visitors have honoured the fixture.

Lewes, who play in the league above Ashford Middlesex who Jersey demolished 8-0 in the last round, are top of the South Premier Division II having had an excellent season recording 11 wins from 16 matches.

The match is scheduled for 2 pm on Sunday 3 March at Les Quennevais .
