In a statement, the inquiry panel said that ‘subject to any unforeseen circumstances’ the report would be published on Monday 3 July.
The report, which will come three years after the first hearings were held, had been due by the end of 2016, however the panel announced it would be postponed until the first quarter of 2017. Then in March it was delayed again after the panel said it had received ‘new information’.
Carrie Modral, chair of the Jersey Care Leavers Association, said at the time that the delays had caused concerns and a sense of unease.
