Adrian Lynch award for top apprentice electrician

The Apprentice of the Year award, which was presented by Adrian’s father Danny Lynch, was won by Rhys Le Voguer. Meanwhile, Stephen Casey won the ESM Outstanding Achievement Award.

Both students were honoured for their achievements while studying for their level three diploma in electrical installations.

Adrian went missing near his St Lawrence home after a Christmas party in 2015, sparking one of the Island’s largest multi-agency operations to have ever taken place. Eight months later his body was found in Handois Reservoir, with an inquest later concluding that the cause of death was ‘unascertained’ but without any suspicious circumstances.

His father said that the award was a way of honouring his son’s memory.
