St Helier road to get a makeover – and name

Tarmac is to be laid on the lane between Upper Clarendon Road and La Pouquelaye, which is to be named Freeley Lane, in honour of former Procureur du Bien Public Paddy Freeley, who died in December 2011.

As part of the project, bollards will be erected to prevent vehicles from parking on the road, an pavements will also be installed.

The decision for the makeover was made by the St Helier Roads Committee.
