Award for top junior lawyer

The award recognises excellence among members of the society who have been qualified for less than three years, and nominations are considered by the society’s committee, who take into account candidates’ contributions to the community, the legal profession and the firm, innovation of legal services, student learning and achievements in adverse or difficult circumstances.

Miss Harrigan qualified as a Jersey Solicitor in December 2014 and is an associate at Collas Crill, the firm she joined nine years ago as a legal assistant. Her role there involves day-to-day responsibility for the Jersey arm of the pan-island will and estates and private client services team.

In addition to a focus on succession law, she regularly advises on mental capacity issues, including curatorships and the registration of foreign powers of attorney/guardianship orders.
