Deputy Montfort Tadier asked Senator Ian Gorst in the States yesterday if he intended to put himself forward in the next election.
However, Senator Gorst said that he was focused on investing in health and education and not on whether he was going to stand in 2018.
‘I will continue to focus on the best long-term interests of Jersey, and I ask every single member of this Assembly to do the same,’ he said.
