Instruments on flight GR611 indicated that the aircraft’s parking brake may have been applied, which would have caused its brakes to lock.
Passengers were made aware of the problem, and following an evaluation the crew confirmed that they could make a safe landing.
The plane landed at 9.35 pm without any difficulties.
It is believed the readings were caused by a computer software glitch, as suspected by the captain at the time, and the Embraer 195 aircraft should be back in use today.
