Royals shrug off the winter storms to yield bumper crop

Growers initially feared that the season would be weeks behind schedule after torrential downpours at the end of January and into February made planting impossible.

However, thanks to a mild winter overall, with no frost or cold wind, the season has made a full recovery and is now surpassing all expectations.
