Parishioners win right to continue fight against Plémont development

He rejected an appeal by Environment Minister Rob Duhamel challenging a Royal Court decision allowing the parish of St Ouen to appeal against the plans.

At the end of March, Deputy Duhamel challenged the court’s decision, which gave St Ouen the right to appeal against plans to build 28 homes on the site.

His Planning department claimed the parish’s appeal was invalid, saying it was submitted one day outside of the permitted window of appeal.
