Mark has lost three stone in 100 days – and is fighting fit

And he found one when he signed up for the latest White Collar Boxing charity event and ten weeks of intensive training.

‘It’s tough, very tough – a real challenge,’ he said after the first two weeks of the régime, which involves three sessions a week in a boxing gym, coached by Ben Murray, organiser and experienced boxer and personal trainer, along with several other boxing coaches.

Mark, the chief operating officer at the Co-op, was also motivated to undertake the challenge, with a boxing bout at the end of it, to raise money for Jersey Hospice Care.

He and the other nine people in the group – two women and seven men – are building up for the boxing event to be held at the Royal Jersey Showground in Trinity on Saturday 13 May.
