The annual festival will be particularly significant this year as it is commemorating 70 years since Mayenne’s Second World War liberation and the large-scale celebration is the result of a collaboration between all the major cities of the Mayenne Department and will see 150 re-enactors, 80 vehicles and a variety of musical performers adorning the streets of Mayenne from 4 August.
