Landmark building unveiled

Up to 750 RBC employees are in the process of moving into the third, fourth and fifth floors of the six-storey office building from their existing accommodation in Broad Street, La Motte Street and Bath Street.

Row upon row of ‘standing’ desks – adjustable for either standing or seated use – are interspersed with break-out areas, kitchen facilities, storage and filing, with a themed café featuring beach-hut booths and striped deckchair-type seating. The client space and executive suite feature rooms named after Canadian cities.

The circa £25 million building project was designed by Axis Mason for Dandara and has been fitted out for RBC by Waddington, project-managed by Peter Rose.
