Eastern delight for Jersey Dairy in Hong Kong

Bob Jones, Jersey Dairy’s head of marketing and export, went to the region to find a distributer on the back of dairy industry publications which said that Chinese people were turning to western countries for their milk supplies.

Sales of Jersey butter in Japan are also on the rise. A Japanese supermarket with in-store bakeries is considering using Jersey Dairy butter in its Jersey butter cookies, and Jersey butter in the shops is sold as a luxury product at 1,200 yen (about £7) for 250 gm.
