ArtHouse Jersey’s ‘Make a Friend, Make a Mess’ project brought some of the parish’s oldest and youngest residents together with illustrator Lauren Radley to share experiences of Christmas and turn them into hand-made decorations for the parish Christmas tree.
Joining them were members of staff from law firm Bedell Cristin, sponsors of the project, which is intended to capitalise on the benefits which result from bringing young and older people together in creative activity.
A spokesperson for ArtHouse Jersey said: ‘We hope the event will serve as a pilot for ongoing projects in the community, aiming to foster a greater sense of community and connection in the Island’s parishes.’
