The force are now appealing for information as they work to try to find out who is responsible for the spate of vandalism which is believed to have occurred between Saturday evening and the early hours of Sunday around West’s Centre and Ann Street.
Some of the tags, the police say, include POSH and AMS and are written in black or pink paint.
The force say they would like to speak to anyone who have may have seen the damage being caused. Officers also want to establish the significance of the tags.
