Shortly before the Monday evening rush-hour began, the bottom of Beaumont Hill was flooded by several inches of water.
Flooding was also reported in other areas of St Peter and St Lawrence and Grands Vaux.
Firefighters were called out after several properties were flooded at Beaumont.
