LOGANAIR has confirmed a code-share agreement which will provide daily year-round links to Amsterdam.

The Scottish carrier has partnered with Dutch airline KLM which will allow Jersey customers to ensure onward travel to Amsterdam as part of the same booking.

Passengers flying from Jersey to Bristol or Southampton will be able to take advantage of the codeshare agreement, which supports KLM’s direct weekly Cityhopper summer route to the Island, scheduled to operate daily from 4 July until 30 August.

Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is one of the busiest travel hubs in Europe, offering more than 300 destinations worldwide and served by more than 100 airlines.

Ronnie Matheson, chief commercial officer at Loganair, said: “Our agreement with KLM is an important step forward in building on our commitment to Jersey.

“By creating a seamless daily connection from Jersey to Amsterdam, we’re strengthening the travel options available to the community and opening up even more opportunities for business, leisure, and onward global travel.

“Enhancing connectivity is at the heart of what we do, and this partnership allows us to support the islands’ economy while providing customers with greater choice and flexibility. We’re proud to deepen our role in serving the islands and look forward to the benefits this improved link will bring for residents and visitors alike.”

Wouter Vermeulen, senior vice-president of Alliances Air France-KLM, said: “We are delighted to further expand our codeshare partnership with Loganair, a valued and reliable partner. This enhanced cooperation enables us to offer our customers daily connectivity between Jersey and Amsterdam, making travel between the Channel Islands and the Netherlands easier and more flexible than ever before.

“We look forward to continuing our successful collaboration with Loganair, and to offering even more convenience and choice to our customers.”
