Don your Santa suit, grab your friends or family, and dash through the streets of St Helier for a fun-filled charity run — the Santa Dash is back for 2025!
Event Details
- When: Thursday 4 December 2025 — meet at 12:00 pm for warm‑up with “Mother Christmas”, with the dash starting shortly after.
- Distance & Pace: A one‑mile course through the town — you can run, jog, scoot or walk. It’s all about taking part!
- Registration: Entry fee is normally around £12.75 per person. There are also options for teams (e.g. 4‑person or 10‑person teams).
- Your Santa Suit: Participants receive a Santa suit as part of registration — though fancy dress is also welcome!
Fun, Festivity & Supporting a Worthy Cause
- The event is organised by Jersey Hospice Care — the island’s only hospice — and is a key fundraiser for their vital palliative and end‑of‑life care services.
- It’s not a competitive race but a fun, inclusive community event — perfect for people of all ages and fitness levels, or groups of friends, families, or work teams.
- The festive spirit is strong — expect Santa suits, mince pies, a warm‑up with “Mother Christmas”, and lots of cheerful Santas dashing through town.
- It’s a lovely way to kick off the Christmas season: fun, community‑minded, and meaningful — with everyone running for the same cause: supporting care for those in need on the island.
What to Know & Prepare

- Make sure you arrive in time to collect your Santa suit (usually from around 11:30 am) and join the group warm‑up.
- Dress for the weather — even in a Santa suit, bring warm layers in case of wind/rain.
- It’s all about enjoying the festive fun, being part of a community, and supporting a great cause.
