Saturday’s matches in the Men’s League Division 1 featured a stunning performance by Victoria College 1st XI, who notched their first win of the season with a 4-1 triumph over Affinity JHC Leopards.

Ben Heelis led the charge with two goals, supported by Barney Aston and Jake Le Boutillier, while Nick Ferraby scored the Leopards’ only goal.

This crucial win lifted Victoria College off the bottom of the table and gave their young squad a much-needed morale boost.

The same day, league leaders OV Convicts faced an in-form Crusaders side in a high-octane clash that culminated in a 2-2 draw.

Pete Millar and Phil Cuming scored for the Convicts, while Mark Dicker and Tom Millar responded for the Crusaders.

The result keeps the Convicts unbeaten at the top of the table, though the Crusaders remain in close pursuit.
