Le Boutillier levels the score with hat-trick for Walkers against RWB

IN a week of high-scoring fixtures, Jake Le Boutillier stood out, with an outstanding hat-trick for Walkers Flames in the Women’s Senior Cup, as his side drew 3-3 with RWB.

In a closely contested match, the Victoria College student’s heroics were dampened by a resilient RWB performance, with Chrissie Helmholt-Kneisel grabbing a double along with a goal from Poppy Hughes.

Elsewhere in the Women’s Senior Cup, Grace Wetherall again starred for JLHC 1st XI with a brace against Quackers 1st XI. Gigi Cooke sealed a 3-2 victory, with Quackers’ Hannah Scriven and Aleisha Stilwell contributing with consolation goals.

In the Women’s Minor Cup, JLHC 2nd XI smashed five past Quackers 2nd XI. Isla Smith, Lucy Kirby and a Farrah Firby double led to a resounding 5-0 scoreline.

Walkers Falcons beat Nomads 2nd XI 6-2 in a highly entertaining game that saw Willoughby Spry, Rafi Hern and Lexi Edward all score braces for the Falcons. Nomads’ goals went to Kaitlyn Cadoret and Scarlett Kinnaird.

The Eagles beat the Puffins 3-1 in the Walkers derby with their bring young stars doing the business through Freya Thorogood, Indy Simpson and Jaxon Reddington.

In the Men’s Division 2, it was Le Boutillier again who made the difference, this time with two goals along with strikes from Stephen Moore, Matt Clegg and Richard Laigngel in a comprehensive 5-1 victory over the Ladies 1st XI.
