Newly announced Jersey Bulls FC manager, Elliot Powell, has announced his coaching staff

JERSEY Bulls has appointed nine new members to its management team, in a strategic move to strengthen the club’s leadership and performance on and off the pitch.

The appointments are to support first team manager Elliot Powell, who was appointed last month.

Assistant coaches Adam Lester and Dan Garton bring a wealth of experience. Lester was the first team manager at St Brelade’s and Garton was Powell’s assistant manager at St Peter’s.

Lester and Garton will work closely with Powell to develop tactical strategies and oversee training sessions.

The Bulls say the coaches bring expertise in player development and will be instrumental in enhancing team performance.

With a strong background in sports science and physical conditioning, Andy Dewhurst joins as performance lead.

Dewhurst will be responsible for overseeing the physical development and fitness of players, ensuring they are in peak condition for every match.

Dylan Buesnel is performance analyst, specialising in data analysis to provide insights into player performance and match statistics.

Buesnel’s analytical skills will help the team make informed decisions to optimise game strategies.

Jan Bentley will lead the charge on physical performance, bringing innovative training methodologies that have been successful in improving player fitness and reducing injuries. His focus will be on maximising the physical capabilities of the squad through tailored training programmes.

Kaj Stefansen’s experience will be vital in developing goalkeeping talent. He brings an unparalleled level of experience from Denmark and Norway topflight footballing leagues as well as a stint with Chinese Football Association.

Stefansen will share his deep understanding of the intricacies of the position gained over 35 years as a player and coach that will ensure Bulls’ goalkeepers are ready to excel in every match.

No stranger to the club, having been with the Bulls under the former management structure, Richard Hebert has had a distinguished career both as a player and a coach. He will work specifically with the goalkeepers to enhance skills and performance.

Kit management is led by Karl Benest, who will ensure that all equipment and apparel needs are met with precision and care.

The coaching team’s attention to detail and dedication will provide players with the highest level of support, ensuring they are always ready for action.

Steve Martin will lead the strength and conditioning team, bringing extensive experience in sports medicine.

Martin will ensure our players receive the best medical care and rehabilitation services, aiming for quick recoveries and maintaining player health throughout the season.

Elliot Powell has expressed his enthusiasm about the new appointments, stating: “I am delighted to welcome this talented group of professionals to our management team.

“Each brings unique skills and experience that will be invaluable as we strive to achieve our goals this season.”

Chief executive Ian Horswell said: “I am confident that this expanded and enhanced management team will provide the support needed to foster a culture of excellence and drive the club to new heights.

“We look forward to seeing the positive impact of these appointments in the upcoming season.”
