FILIP NOWACKI travels from Somerset to Scotland today [11 MARCH] as he prepares for the 2026 British Championships with an open meet in Edinburgh.

The Millfield School student is using the International Swim Meet as a stepping stone towards the nationals [14-19 April in London], where he could challenge for honours in the 100m and 200m breaststroke and potentially qualify for the 2026 European Championships.

Nowacki, supported by Jersey Sport’s Performance Sport Programme, will return to the English capital in May for the star-studded AP Race London International – hosted by Adam Peaty’s performance brand.

“This week I’m just gaining experience and just hoping to have a good race,” said Nowacki.

“It’ll be the same thing in May … seeing where I am training wise. The April trials [British Championships] is the main one for me.”
