ROYALS RFC have endured a difficult start to life in the Counties 2 Sussex division, but head to Brighton tomorrow in determined spirits.
A spot in the Sussex RFU Plate Final awaits the Royals, but attention this weekend is firmly fixed on securing their first league win of the 2025/26 campaign.
Brighton II are tomorrow’s opponents for a Royals side who, in five league games has seen a return of five defeats.
Royals currently ninth out of ten teams in the division, but Brighton II sit just one place higher than them. The UK outfit have returned just two wins from their five fixtures, however both of those victories have come on the road, including a 46-7 away win over struggling Crawley last weekend.
The Royals will take confidence from Brighton’s poor home record and will feel this is an excellent opportunity to land that all important first mark in the win column.
