Tomorrow will present an exciting opportunity for adults searching for a new sport, as the Jersey Squash & Racketball Club will be hosting an action-packed open day.

Held at their clubhouse, located in the St Clement’s Sports Hub, participants will get the chance to get out on the court and be taught basic techniques from some of the Island’s best players, as well as the rules for both squash and racketball.

This goes beyond being shown the game, as everyone will gather at their new bar afterwards to socialise while watching the entertaining rugby.

Club President Matt Boote is passionate to grow the game on the Island, saying: “This open day is a great opportunity to show people what a great game squash and racketball both are, especially with it now being winter.

“These are high intensity, social games that are open to all, and the club is a great place to exercise and hang out during the winter months, especially since we have such a great community here.

“This offers a great chance for networking and expanding our club, as it’s growing our pool of players. There are so many stresses in life, playing this gives a great escape.”

The open day will commence tomorrow afternoon, from 2pm. For all information, please check out their website, www.jerseysquash.org.je.
