An Emma Bower brace helped the Jersey Ladies Hockey Club to a 4-0 victory over the Guernsey Cubs in the Ladies' Upton Picture: JERSEY HOCKEY

JERSEY Ladies Hockey Club capped off a remarkable season by securing a clean sweep of silverware, defeating Guernsey Cubs 4–0 in the Women’s Upton at Les Quennevais on Saturday.

The fixture, contested annually between the league champions of Jersey and Guernsey, saw the hosts dominate from start to finish. With the local league and cup titles already secured, Jersey added the inter-island crown to complete a memorable treble.

Captain Emma Bower led by example, scoring twice in a commanding display that set the tone for her side. Kerry Rogers and Olive Smith added a goal apiece to seal a convincing victory and ensure the trophy remains in Jersey hands.

The 11.30am push-back drew a lively crowd, and they were treated to a confident, attacking performance from the home side, who showed composure and control throughout. An assured defensive display kept the Guernsey champions at bay to secure a deserved clean sheet.

While Jersey’s other women’s side, Quackers, had lifted the Upton trophy in each of the previous four editions, this year’s victory marks a shift in local dominance, with JLHC now adding their name to the growing list of Jersey success stories.
