Having begun studying at Nevada University in America in August – where she’d won a swimming scholarship to compete as part of their Wolf Pack team – the former Beaulieu student decided to return home in December to focus on finding a career.
‘I’ve decided to take a step back from swimming and I’m now going to focus on my career,’ said the 18-year-old, who also won two silver medals and three bronze in Bermuda.
