Tough ask, but we'll give it our all
And, packed full of a host of former England international players with plenty of experience of high level competition, supporters are optimistic about the team's chances in Scotland.
Jersey sent its first badminton team to Kuala Lumpur 1998, and has had players at every Games since but never has the Island had such a realistic chance of upsetting some of the top nations.
In Mark Constable, Elizabeth Cann and Mariana Agathangelou, the team has three players who've won Commonwealth medals for England, and they'll be joined in Glasgow by Solenn Pasturel, who has represented Jersey at four previous Games, and débutante Alex Hutchins.
