MCC beaten twice by the Reds

Sport | Published:

The Reds secured a comfortable seven-wicket win in Sunday's 50-over match at Farmer's Field, as Nat Watkins took five wickets for 26 runs from his ten overs, before claiming a dramatic last-ball victory in a twenty20 match at the same venue yesterday.

Ben Stevens smashed 52 runs, including four 4s and five 6s, from 20 deliveries yesterday but Anthony Kay (24 not out) and Charles Perchard (14 n.o.) were the heroes of the day as the pair saw the Reds to victory, with the latter scoring two off the final delivery.
