The JEP columnist and ex-Formula One racing driver believes that the determination and the will-to-win that the German multiple world champion exhibited over the years on the track will stand him in good stead as he battles the life-threatening head injury suffered while skiing at the Meribel resort in France on Sunday.
‘Michael’s nature, competitiveness and fight give him the best chance of coming through this,’ Warwick said, adding: ‘I am sure that he is lying there working out the best way to fix this and I’m convinced he will make a full recovery, I’m sure it won’t be easy and there will be a long road to full fitness, but if anyone can do it Michael can.’
