Roared on by passionate home support – the league record at St Peter of 3,600 looks set to be broken – Jersey will be seeking the win that could secure them a second season in the Championship.
But their opponents will be equally fired up in their fight for survival after having, like Jersey, worked their way up from lowly beginnings in the league structure to the professional environs of the second tier of British rugby.
