LTA name Jersey girl as Future Star

Sport | Published:

JERSEY junior tennis player Natasha Forrest has been named on the LTA's Aegon Future Stars programme for 2013.

The Jersey College for Girls student is one of 486 juniors in the country to be selected who will now receive additional support and funding from the LTA.

The programme recognises and supports some of the best juniors in the country based on the individual player's talent ID assessment, for players aged 13 and under, and rankings for all other age groups.

Forrest has had an impressive year which included reaching the knockout stage of the Road to Wimbledon U14 girls' tournament at the age of 11.
